• Complete your Associate degree at SVCC for a fraction of the cost of attending your first two years at a 4-year institution. Courses on this guide can be used toward a general transfer degree (Associate in Arts or Associate in Science) at SVCC. Meet with an academic advisor to revise your academic plan as needed.
• Transfer to a 4-year college or university to complete your bachelor’s degree.

Illinois Articulation Initiative
The Illinois Articulation Initiative (IAI) is a statewide transfer agreement among more than 100 Illinois colleges and universities. Participating institutions agree to accept a package of IAI general education courses to meet their lower-division general education requirements.
