SAUK VALLEY COMMUNITY COLLEGE

BOARD OF TRUSTEES ELECTION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that nominating petitions for membership on the Board of Trustees of Sauk Valley Community College, District #506, Lee, Ogle, Henry, Bureau, Whiteside and Carroll Counties for the consolidated election to be held on April 4, 2023 may be picked up at the College during regular office hours (Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. AND Friday from 8 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.) from the Secretary to the Board of Trustees, Peggy Eshleman, on and after September 20, 2022. Packets may also be distributed virtually by emailing Peggy Eshleman at peggy.eshleman@svcc.edu.
Two candidates are to be elected for full six-year terms;
One candidate is to be elected for a two-year unexpired term; and
One candidate is to be elected for a four-year unexpired term.
These petitions may be filed between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Monday through Thursday and between the hours of 8 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Friday, with Peggy Eshleman or Kathy Sotelo, on the third floor of the college (Room 3L8). The dates and times for filing these petitions are as follows:
Persons elected on April 4, 2023, will be seated at the new Board’s organizational meeting in April of 2023.
