- The purpose of this office is to hold county records, board records and minutes, and responsibility for voter registration and election.
- Remarks:
- Vital records include birth certificates, marriage certificates, and death certificates. Birth and death records date back to 1878 and marriage records date back to 1839. The county clerk is also responsible for notary public records. Fees are charged to obtain copies of records.
