Purpose:

The Helping Hands Food Pantry offers non-perishable foods, some paper and cleaning products, and some health items, as well as milk, eggs, margarine, meat and bread for those who are in need. Limits are based upon family size. Participating churches take turns donating supplies, money and volunteers to staff the pantry each month. In addition to the churches, other community and school district food drives, and many generous individuals help keep the pantry open.

Remarks:

The Milledgeville-Chadwick Ministerial Association sponsors the Helping Hands Food Pantry the first Tuesday of each month, with an additional Holiday Distribution the 3rd Tuesday in November and December. Times are 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Registration is required during the first visit. Please bring a utility bill, driver's license. or other form of ID with your current address. Families must live within the school boundaries of the Chadwick-Milledgeville School District #399.
