    Even with the Sauk Valley shooting 50% from the field in the 1st half; the Skyhawks found themselves down 11 at the half  40-51, as they could not find the defensive answers to slow down the Cougars.   The Skyhawks had a better defensive effort in the second half holding Highland to 31 pts. and cutting the lead to single digits several times, but could not find the run they needed, falling by 14 at the end of the disappointing loss.  The Skyhawks put four players in double figures led by Devares Whitaker with 15 pts., while Atem Agot had 13 pts and 9 rebounds to lead the Skyhawks on the boards. Also in double figures were Riek Riek with 12 pts. and LA Fayne 11pts..
