Program Goals
- Provide students with an understanding of physics knowledge is extracted by various techniques and instrumentation.
- Teach students to understand the principles of physics, and use those principles to predict and explain the outcomes of experiments.
- Provide students with the necessary background for their transfer degree studies, graduate studies, and/or work in industry.
- Comply with the IAI Physics Major Panel recommendations for statewide transfer of courses.
