Learning Commons Library

Located on the east end of the third floor of the building, the Sauk Valley Community College Learning Commons provides library and media services to Sauk students, faculty members, and members of the public.

Students, faculty, and staff may now request our items for pickup in the West Mall. 

How to request an item for pickup in the West Mall:

Click here to request items.

  • Type in your search term(s)
  • Select "Library Catalog" and then filter to "Held by my Library" on the left hand side
  • Now choose a book and locate where it says "Available at Sauk"
  • Finally, select "Request" from the "Get it" area
  • Send request

Click here to request a laptop for checkout.

We will have your items within two business days.  Items may be picked up in the West Mall on Monday - Thursday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and Fridays from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. Just show security your driver's license or student id.
